Sperm donation is often in the news, and is a subject discussed with interest as it becomes a more frequently used method of having a baby. Recently the Daily Mail published an article in which they tell the story of Lisa Evans, a woman who used a site like PureAdam in order to find a donor, and chose natural insemination as a method of conception. After just three attempts she became pregnant and is now mother to baby Elliot.
The article received a lot of attention in the press, and was sensationalised with catchy headlines. However Lisa is not ashamed of her decision to sleep with her sperm donor, that is why she chose to share her story with the World. Had Lisa not used the Internet to find a donor, it is unsure whether she would have ever achieved her dream of becoming a mother.
